Humanistic Hope Coalition is proud to serve as the Cowlitz County Organizer for Save a Life Day 2026. This marks our third year leading this life-saving effort in our community.
What Is Save a Life Day?
Save a Life Day is a nationwide day of action focused on preventing overdose deaths.
Communities across the country come together to provide:

Free naloxone, also known as Narcan

Overdose prevention education

Harm reduction resources

Community awareness
-
Stigma reduction
-
Connection to support and services
The goal is simple: get life-saving tools into the hands of people who may need them.

Why It Matters
Naloxone can reverse an opioid overdose and give someone another chance at life.
When more people know how to recognize an overdose, carry naloxone, and respond quickly, more lives can be saved.
Save a Life Day is about compassion, education, and community action.

Our Role in Washington
Three years ago, Humanistic Hope Coalition became the first Save a Life Day organizer in Washington State.
By bringing this national movement to Cowlitz County, Humanistic Hope helped put Washington on the Save a Life Day map.
Since then, we have continued to lead local efforts through outreach, education, partnerships, and free naloxone distribution.
